Our Partners

Though we are an independent not-for-profit, we work with various community organizations and levels of government to accomplish our mutual goals. We credit the lasting success of Metro Business Opportunities to our ability to enable partnerships.

CBDC - Community Business Development Corporation

Metro Business Opportunities is a member of the both the Atlantic Association of CBDC's and the Newfoundland and Labrador Association of CBDC's. MBO's mandate is geographically focused on the cities of St. John's and Mount Pearl, which compliments the CBDC's mission of rural small business development. By working together, the CBDC network ensures support for entrepreneurs in every corner of our province and Atlantic Canada.

Atlantic Urban Partners

Metro Business Opportunities has formed a partnership with the five other urban mandated business development organizations located in the Atlantic Region. While differing in their programs and structure, all of the urban partners share similar challenges and opportunities to foster business development in their cities. The six Atlantic Urban Partners jointly offer the Impact Atlantic Loan Program.

Municipal Partners

MBO is mandated to foster entrepreneurship and small business development in the cities of St. John's and Mount Pearl, Newfoundland and Labrador. To accomplish this we have forged strong partnerships with municipal staff to ensure seamless support for new and existing business owners.

Industry Memberships

Metro Business Opportunities maintains a healthy relationship with other business development organizations and industry associations. These relationships allow us to reach more entrepreneurs with our services and allow all organizations to achieve mutual goals.

Lending Partners

MBO offers several in-house loan programs to our clients. We also facilitate additional financing through our valued lending partners.
